New Challenge - Holiday Inspiration!

Hi scrappy friends!

We are busy putting Issue 5 to bed as we speak, and are just days away from the BIG reveal on November 1st - be sure to check back here to be among the first to read it!

In the meantime, we are prepping for a special HOLIDAY issue!  And you can be a part of that, too!

We have two ways for you to participate...

First up is our gorgeous holiday mood board.

Use this mood board to create ANY type of holiday project.  Yes, layouts, cards, altered items, etc. are all welcome.  So let's see those Christmas, Hanukkah or whatever celebration you observe projects.

Next we have a sketch challenge.

Let this sketch inspire you to create a WINTER or HOLIDAY layout (yes, layouts only please).

All projects are due by November 15th and we cannot wait to see what you submit!

Special Holiday Edition Submissions

Please read as some of our submissions criteria have changed!

Submissions are now being accepted for our special Christmas/Holdiay Issue which will go live December 25th.   

Hello everyone, it’s that time again, time to get those magazine submissions for Iour Holiday Inspired edition of Get Inspired.  

Here is what we are looking for in this issue:

·         Gallery -Holiday/Christmas or Winter Themed projects or layouts

·         Cards (Holiday/Christmas)

         Mood Board (winners published only)

·         Challenge Feature (winners published only)

·         We are also having TWO feature challenges on our Magazine Blog.  The first is our mood board.  You haven until November 15th to play along for your chance to be published in the next issue of the magazine! Winners, yes that is plural, will be contact in November for a product list.

·      Our second challenge will be a sketch challenge.  These challenges WILL ONLY be found on our magazine blog.  They are separate from our Let’s Get Sketchy Challenges.  Visit the blog for more info.

COVER: As a reminder, we pull our cover photos from our challenge submissions; we also pull our feature artists from our entries.  ANY PROJECT SUBMITTED TO LGS IS SUBJECTED TO BEING PUBLISHED. If you do NOT want any of your projects published at any time, please contact me at letsgetsketchysubmissions@gmail.com.

SUPPLIES:   When listing your supplies please use the format below, any submission not properly submitted will not be considered for publication.

·         Sketch Designer or Site (it is your responsibility to be aware of which sketch sites do not allow publication of pages created with their sketches, ie. Sketch n Scrap):

LAYOUT PHOTO: please make sure your layout is clear and concise.  No additional background “interference”.  We will not publish any photos that are not properly photographed.

DUE DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS FOR ISSUE NOVEMBER 20TH 2014.

Previously published work will not be accepted (print or digital).  You may however, submit work that has previously appeared in online galleries or blogs.  All work submitted must be no older than 60 days.

Please include the following information on ALL submissions:

• Name
• Country
• Title of Project
• Brief Supply list
• Which section you are submitting for

It's Finally Here!!

Hi there!

Hi friends!

Have you heard the news?  Issue 4 is LIVE!  You can read it here!  We know you will enjoy it, and hope you consider submitting for the next issue!

And speaking of the next issue, Brenshevia and I have been busy (already) laying the ground work for Issue 5.  Actually, truth be told, we have to start on the next before the current issue even goes live!

We have a few new ideas for the next issue, the first of which will start with a new challenge, using this mood board!

We would love for you to link up your interpretation of this mood board.  And don't forget to share the information on your blog, so that all your friends know to play along, too!  You do not need a blog to play along.
